The Ferens Art Gallery in Hull was closed for the 16 months while it underwent an essential revamp to fix the gallery’s temperature, humidity and lighting systems. The work was deemed necessary if it was to be trusted to care for world-class art. DWC sympathetically went about installing new ceilings, walls and bulkheads around sky lights to new restaurant area.
